Jordan and Devyn, both students of Jessup University where they were active in sports—Jordan on the men’s tennis team and Devyn on the volleyball team—had been aware of each others presence for quite some time before embarking on a romantic journey.

Their paths crossed one evening in December 2022 at a friend’s Christmas gathering. Fate intervened when Devyn stumbled over a carpet, only to find herself caught in Jordan’s arms. This serendipitous encounter led to the exchange of phone numbers, culminating in their first date just days later at a local church they both attended.

Their connection deepened over the following months, and after a month and a half, they officially became a couple. Fast forward 11 months, Jordan orchestrated a memorable proposal at a beautiful restaurant in Laguna Beach, followed by a romantic beach stroll where he dropped to one knee and asked her to spend forever with him.

God truly had a beautiful plan for both Jordan and Devyn, and planned this all out perfectly. They thank the Lord everyday for being able to find each other.
