Are we expecting everyone to wear a suit and tie and ball gowns? No. BUT we prefer everyone dress nicely and accordingly for our special day. There are examples in pictures if you scroll down between the formal/semi formal. One picture lists casual which we are okay with that kind of casual.
How do I/we RSVP?
We prefer to have them mailed back BUT there is the option through our website here.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Tentative plan is to have it outdoors at the Fairway Grove location (there will be signs directing you where to go on Chula property). The only way it will be moved indoors is if we expect any rain/snow at the time of the ceremony. This will all be determined ahead of time.
Can I bring my own alcohol or flask?
Due to state liquor laws, the only alcohol allowed on property (including the PARKING LOT) is to be served by the licensed bartenders staffed by the venue. There is a strict zero tolerance policy enforced by the venue and employees. There will be employees working the event along with our own security that will have an eye out for people trying to sneak in their own alcohol. There will be serious consequences for such actions. Don’t worry, there will be a fully staffed bar for mixed drinks, seltzer’s, wines, and tap beer.
Are children invited?
Yes they are. HOWEVER, for parents of young children attending the wedding we do love your little ones and their safety is our number one priority! Please be aware that both the wedding ceremony and reception will be recorded and the photographer/videographer has requested that parents of young children be mindful of noise interruptions and sound quality of the video. In these cases, we have a beautiful outdoor space that you can bring them to if you find there are interruptions both in the ceremony or the reception. It is up to the parents to decide if they think their child should attend an event like this or not. If they do attend, please be mindful of them and remove them from any spaces where they may cause a distraction. Where the reception is, it does over look the Wisconsin River. As they do have some gates for the pathways, there is no fencing protecting the hill that can be easy to fall/slide down on past the concreted area.
Will there be a room block?
Yes. Room block info will be under the Travel tab on the website.
