HOW DO I SECURE MY ROOM AT THE HOTEL?

Go to the "Book your Hotel Room" section and click on our Hotel Booking Website. We have a travel coordinator who will help you with questions about the rooms and payment Val Chavez: groups@paradiseweddings.com We have blocked 40 rooms. Reservations are first-come, first-served, and you can secure your room by paying a USD 200 deposit before May 17, 2024.

WHAT DATES SHOULD I PLAN TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM CANCUN?

According to our wedding celebration itinerary, the ideal stay in the hotel is from July 27th to August 1st, but you are free to stay for more or less days. However, the Hotel policy requires wedding guests to spend at least three nights.

HOW I CAN BOOK TOURS AND EXCURSIONS?

The hotel has a concierge service at the lobby who can help guests with any information regarding transfers, excursions, and trips outside the hotel. At the hotel, you can also find the private operator "GOMajestic". The coordinator is Edwin Sanchez - edwin.sanchez@gomajestictours.com

DO I NEED A VISA DOCUMENT TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?

For most countries, you do not require a VISA to travel as a tourist to Mexico. We encourage you to verify on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations' webpage to verify your nationality: https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/finlandia/index.php/traveling/visas.

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR VISITORS ENTERING MEXICO?

There is a Departure Tax for Quintana Roo Cancun and Cozumel airports. We would like to inform you that as of April 1, 2021, the state of Quintana Roo will be requiring all foreign tourists to pay a tax of $244 Mexican pesos (around $11 USD). The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during the stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. Visitors will have the option to access: http://visitax.gob.mx/, where they will complete a brief questionnaire and make the payment. The VISITAX form will request the following information: ∙ Number of people traveling ∙ Name, age, and passport number of each individual ∙ Departure date Every tourist departing the state of Quintana Roo must show their proof of payment at the airport prior to boarding.

Yes, there is free parking in the hotel.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING WEEK?

Welcome beach party: Ladies should wear summer beach cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear Hawaiian shirts and regular shorts. Wedding day: Formal attire is required. Gentlemen should wear a suit with a jacket and tie. Ladies should wear a floor-length gown. The ceremony is at the beach and the party is at the ballroom, so bring flats for the ceremony and then put on your high heels on the multicolor dancing floor in the ballroom. Farewell Brunch: Please wear a pool outfit!

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN CANCUN?

July is Cancun's "summer" season. The average high in Cancún reaches 33ºC in July, so it’s perfect weather if you love being nice and warm. Things don't cool down much in the evenings, so you won’t need to waste space in your suitcase with lots of warm clothes. The sea temperature’s 29ºC, which is perfect for swimming, while humidity’s very high. There’s 115mm of rain over five days and you can expect 13 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be extreme, so take sun cream with you. Sunset’s around 7.30 pm.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN CANCUN?

The national currency in Mexico is the Mexican Peso (MXN). However, the US Dollar is widely accepted across Mexico especially in the more touristic places like Playa del Carmen. In fact most tour companies, restaurants, and even some shops will have their prices in both pesos and dollars. You need to be careful of the exchange rate though if you are paying in dollars it should be somewhere between 17-20 pesos to the dollar (January 2019). There will almost always be a sign somewhere telling you this. If the rate is 16 or below it is better to pay in pesos.

Can I stay in another hotel and attend the wedding events at Majestic Costa Mujeres?

Yes, you can. However, you need to consider that the hotel will charge you a Day Pass per day that costs USD 140 in order to give you access to the hotel. A Day Pass lets you be a Guest for the Day at the hotel without the need for a Room; you can Access Sports, Leisure, and Recreation amenities. Basically, you can enjoy the pool, the beach club, the fitness center, restaurants, bars, and other wellness facilities during the whole day.
