Our Wedding

We met in the desert. We got engaged in the mountains. We will marry at the beach! The purpose of this celebration is to unify our families and friends from all over the world. Our "Beach Wedding Week " will include three days of events where we promise to dance all day and night, take memorable photos and enjoy the warm waters of the Riviera Maya. *********************************************************************** Nos conocimos en el desierto y nos comprometimos en la montaña. ¡Nos casaremos en la playa! El propósito de esta celebración es unir a nuestras familias y amigos de todo el mundo. Nuestra "Semana de Boda en la Playa" incluirá tres días de eventos donde prometemos bailar todo el día y toda la noche, tomar fotografías memorables y disfrutar de las cálidas aguas de la Riviera Maya.

We celebrated our Peruvian engagement on December 29th, 2023, at the beach club, Lagunas de Puerto Viejo in Lima, Peru.

Welcome to Paradise!

Diana and Luca met at Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2021, and they both graduated in May 2022. They were classmates from two different countries who spoke different languages and became the best, loyal friends while organizing leadership events,&nbsp;sharing potluck dinners, playing volleyball games, and supporting each other during their graduate studies. As the friendship grew, Luca was trying to spend more time with Diana because he started having feelings for her. Diana was fascinated by Luca’s determination to pursue her and the feeling of protection he gave her. She liked him so much as well, but she was too busy with grad school to start a relationship. Still, he was very charming and persistent, so she tentatively agreed. The romance started on October 11th, 2021, when Luca after insisting for a week, convinced Diana to go with him out to Indian Wells for a tennis tournament. Diana initially declined the invitation but suddenly changed her mind at midnight on the day before and texted Luca to pick her up at 7 a.m. while he was already sleeping. On their way at 7 a.m., construction on the I-10 made the normally 3-hour trip into a 5-hour ordeal.&nbsp;Therefore, Diana and Luca decided to get off on the 303 and shoot up to Sedona. On their way, they stopped at a pumpkin festival in Prescott, where they walked over a maze labyrinth and took their first pictures together “if you see those pictures today, you will notice they were looking already as being more than friends.&nbsp; While in Sedona, Luca behaved more charmingly than ever and convinced Diana that he was the right one and they deserved a chance. They enjoyed the day hiking, walking in the town, eating lunch, and taking pictures. Their special connection happened during their trip back, where Luca played all his favorite EDM music, and Diana danced her Latin music in her seat. When they returned to Phoenix that day, they were both aware that something had shifted in their relationship. They were more than friends, and the bond was growing fast. They became boyfriend and girlfriend and told their families about their international romance. Almost nine months later, Diana and Luca started to prepare for their graduation; they spent the last weeks of graduate school together, always helping each other. Luca used to help Diana edit her essays, while Diana always suggesting more ways of networking as well as cooking meals for both of them. Both navigate the immigration process together and exchange advice every day. However, since graduation was coming, things were about to change, and uncertainty was approaching. Both were gifted in school and driven to succeed, so graduating wasn’t the problem. Finding a job before their visas ran out was a different story. Luca found his job first. Bolstered by that and his unshakable faith in the two of them, he kept encouraging Diana that she would find a job soon and they could stay in the country together. Three months later, Diana landed a job that kept her in her dream career of international development, and they both started making their future plans together. Challenging times are the ones that shape a couple's strength. In this journey, they learned they could trust and rely on each other. Luca’s confidence and optimism inspired Diana as her determination and loyalty inspired him. Their faith kept them going. And today’s wedding is the first of many rewards. They came from different upbringings, halfway around the world, and found each other during a global pandemic. So many obstacles threatened to stop them in their tracks. However, Diana and Luca don’t let obstacles stand in their way. They overcome them. And in doing so, they become stronger individually and as a couple. Their love and commitment deepen and grow. Diana and Luca are an international couple that fought all the odds to remain together, therefore, the universe agrees that they have the best recipe for building a family. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Diana y Luca se conocieron en Thunderbird School of Global Management en 2021 y ambos se graduaron en mayo de 2022. Cuando regresaron a Phoenix ese día, ambos eran conscientes de que algo había cambiado en su relación. Eran más que amigos y el vínculo crecía rápidamente. Se convirtieron en novios y les contaron a sus familias sobre su romance internacional. Casi nueve meses después, Diana y Luca comenzaron a prepararse para su graduación; Pasaron juntos las últimas semanas de la escuela de posgrado, ayudándose siempre mutuamente. Luca solía ayudar a Diana a editar sus ensayos, mientras que Diana siempre sugería más formas de establecer contactos y de cocinar comidas para ambos. Ambos navegan juntos por el proceso de inmigración e intercambian consejos todos los días. Sin embargo, como se acercaba la graduación, las cosas estaban a punto de cambiar y la incertidumbre se acercaba. Luca fue el primero en encontrar trabajo. Reforzado por eso y por su fe inquebrantable en ellos dos, siguió animando a Diana a que encontraría un trabajo pronto y que podrían quedarse juntos en el país. Tres meses después, Diana consiguió un trabajo que la mantuvo en la carrera de sus sueños de desarrollo internacional, y ambos comenzaron a hacer planes para el futuro juntos. Los tiempos difíciles son los que moldean la fortaleza de una pareja. En este viaje, aprendieron que podían confiar unos en otros. La confianza y el optimismo de Luca inspiraron a Diana, al igual que su determinación y lealtad lo inspiraron a él. Su fe los mantuvo adelante. Y la boda de hoy es la primera de muchas recompensas. Procedían de diferentes entornos, al otro lado del mundo, y se encontraron en medio de una pandemia mundial. Tantos obstáculos amenazaron con detenerlos en su camino. Sin embargo, Diana y Luca no permiten que los obstáculos se interpongan en su camino. Los superan. Y al hacerlo, se vuelven más fuertes individualmente y como pareja. Su amor y compromiso se profundizan y crecen. Diana y Luca son una pareja internacional que luchó contra todos los pronósticos para permanecer juntos, por eso, el universo coincide en que tienen la mejor receta para formar una familia.

The&nbsp;Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, also known as&nbsp;The Great Mayan Reef&nbsp;or&nbsp;Great Maya Reef, is the most extensive barrier reef system in the Western Hemisphere. The most famous one is the Cenote Azul located at Playa Del Carmen.
