Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes before the ceremony starts (5 pm) to ensure everyone is seated and ready to start on time.

Where should guests park?

Parking is in the grass/gravel parking lot between the bridal cottage and the barn. Overnight parking is allowed, but you must retrieve your vehicle BEFORE 10 am Saturday morning. If you do not, there will be a $100 dollar fine. The gate is closed and locked at midnight.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! We will have a 30 passenger coach bus to transport guests to and from the venue. Shuttles will run at the following times from Comfort Inn- Paw Paw: Hotel to venue- 3:00 pm & 4:00 pm Venue to hotel- 9:30 pm, 10:30 pm & 11:30 pm

Do you have hotel rooms blocked for guests?

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

Is there a dress code?

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal or cocktail attire. Think floor length, tea length, or midi formal dresses, dressy suits/jumpsuits, or suits (tie optional). No jeans please. Ultimately, we want you to look and feel your best to help us celebrate our day!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Our venue is a beautiful modern barn surrounded by trees and a river located in Marcellus, MI. Our ceremony will be outdoors and the reception indoors. The venue allows for both the enjoyment of the outdoors or indoors depending on your preference for cocktail hour and through the reception. The venue is not climate controlled. While they do have fans for air circulation, June weather can be variable so please be prepared for whatever mother nature brings. If it rains, the ceremony will move to standing room only inside the barn. The venue does spray for mosquitoes but if you are allergic to insect bites please be prepared as you may be exposed.

What happens after the ceremony?

Immediately following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour while the bridal party takes photos.

Can I bring a plus one?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag us in each photo so we get to see all of your pictures!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

We will have a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception where we serve appetizers and drinks. We will also be serving a buffet style dinner, desert and a late night snack. Oh! And I can't forget to mention there is an open bar! Be sure to tip your bartender!
