Q + A

Do I have to perform on the Sangeet?

YES, everyone has to compulsorily perform on the sangeet! The event is for Div & Yoosh to watch all their peeps shake their bums, but don't worry - ample liquid courage will be provided. Please contact Sanya Khanijow (bridesmaid) at +91 85951 88228 on whatsapp, if you'd like help in planning and choreographing the dances.

Where do I buy Indian clothes from?

You can either order clothes online in Australia or buy them in India prior to the wedding. While the first option will be more expensive, it will also be time efficient - so please decide according to your travel agenda. _____________________________________________________ ..................Manyavar Mohey, South Extension II..................... ......................................FabIndia.............................................. ..................................Biba (For Women)................................... .............................Global Desi (For Women)............................. ............................Nalli Sarees (in South Ex)............................ .............................Pernia’s Pop Up Mehrauli ........................... ......................................Meena Bazaar .................................... .................................Shahpur Jat Market................................. I'm so excited about the Indian food! What're the best places to eat?

Please remember that you CAN'T drink tap water in India. As much as Div hates plastic bottles, please buy water wherever you go in India and ask for mineral water at ALL restaurants. This also extends to eating uncooked foods like street chaat and salads that may be made or washed with tap water. Try to opt for cooked foods to reduce the chances of catching a bacterial infection. Also, please carry tummy medicines with you. Otherwise, we'd be happy to suggest our favorite places to eat in Delhi where you can get safe and yummy foods! Haldirams, Various Locations Gulatis, Lodhi Road Naivedyam, Hauz Khas Village Juggernaut, Hauz Khas Market/Kailash Colony Mahabelly, Saket Social, Hauz Khas Village Jamun, Lodi Colony Nizam's Kathi Roll, Defence Colony/Connaught Place

How safe it is to travel in India?

As in any country or city, there are places that you should avoid visiting. While it is unlikely you'll end up there, please feel free to run your itinerary by Megha Wadhwa or Sanya Khanijow (bridesmaids) at +91 8595 188 228 and +91 9711 732 209.

How do I find a cab/auto?

Uber and Ola are your best buds! Pick cash as the payment method, and find a cab or an auto through the app! There are no extra charges above and beyond the final total on the app (all tolls, fees etc. are included)
