Built in 1911 as the county poor farm, historic Edgefield is a destination resort in the Pacific Northwest that blends Oregon's natural beauty with McMenamins' signature whimsy. Original buildings have been carefully restored, gardens bloom, great food and drink abound, and entertainment reigns. In the stately main building there are over 100 guestrooms and hostel accommodations without televisions or telephones, encouraging tranquility as surely as do the rocking chairs on our verandas. Guests may choose from rooms with en suite bathrooms or with conveniently located common private bathrooms down the hall. Located just 15 minutes from the Portland Airport, you can easily catch a taxi or uber if you're traveling by plane. If you're traveling by car, the property is conveniently located just off of Hwy 84.

The ceremony will start at 5:00pm. If you plan to attend the ceremony, please arrive no later than 4:30pm to allow time to park, enter the venue, & find your seat. No late entry to the ceremony will be premitted.

Yes. A map of the venue is available on the "Venue" tab on this website. You will see designated parking areas on the map. Because Edgefield is a public event space, the grounds may be busy and parking may be limited. Please give yourself time for parking if you plan to drive.

If you're invited to our wedding, you know we aren't the fancy type. However, this is a special day for us, so please dress accordingly. Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be outdoors and July in Portland can be quite warm.

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during our ceremony to allow the photographer to get the pictures we want. However, you are welcome to take pictures during the reception!

As much as we would love to accommodate everyone's children, our venue is limited on space. We kindly ask that you help us make this a child free event.
