Q + A
Can I bring a date and/or my kids?
Due to venue capacity limitations, we’re unable to accommodate extra guests. Please refer to those listed on your Save the Dates and Invites.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Semi-formal. We figure everyone needs an excuse to dress-up. Ladies: Dress or jumpsuits knee length or below; color is encouraged and welcomed. Men: Suit and tie. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or shades similar, as that is reserved for the bride. Men, please refrain from wearing a tux, as that is reserved for the groom.
What is the dress code for the pizza party?
Summer Chic. Think casual but stylish; opt for lighter, natural and breathable fabrics like linen. Think sundresses, jumpsuits and button-ups; no suits or jackets necessary. Please refrain from wearing white or shades similar, as that is reserved for the bride and groom.
Is there transportation to and from the wedding? Pizza party?
Shuttle services will be provided to guests for the pizza party (September 2nd) and on the wedding day (September 3rd) to Palazzo San Niccolo and DeDo Boutique Hotel. These shuttles have been coordinated in advance and coincide with the hotel that you marked for your RSVP. Shuttles will leave ON TIME and will not be delayed for ANY guests. Please be on time!
Which airport should I fly into? What hotel should I stay at?
Please check the "travel" tab for more information on airfare and accommodations. We encourage guests to do their own research for safe and educated travel!
Am I permitted to take pictures during the ceremony?
While we appreciate your enthusiasm surrounding our day, the ceremony will be an unplugged event. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture our day. Please silence and put away all mobile devices.
Is it difficult to drive in Italy?
Dom and I didn't run into any issues when we rented a car internationally. With that being said, please do your research!
We would recommend an "International Driving Permit" which can be purchased for $20 at AAA.
Also, don't forget, Italians typically drive manual cars, so if you do not know how to drive stick (like dom and I), you need to reserve an automatic car (typically a little more $$$ and less options, so reserve in advance)!
We also made sure to be familiar with Italy's road signs and toll roads. Find more information here:
