Back in 2013, when the world did not have to social distance and you could see everyone’s face without masks, Bob was making his way to get a drink at a party when he was distracted by the eye-catching beauty that lit up the other side of the room. Donna was walking towards the door to chat with a friend, she did not know at the time, but Bob was already nervous about what he was going to say to her. He approached with a cheesy smile and the confidence of a middle schooler; she stood there waiting, already catching his eyes, anticipating the approach. When they finally got to talking, he made her laugh and she made him feel larger than life and the next day Bob asked Donna out on a date. They went to Chipotle, this was Donna’s choice and remains a top pick seven years later. During the seven years that lead up to their engagement they both graduated from Towson University, they have travelled to national parks and explored cities. They eventually moved into an apartment and adopted a dog, with the addition of Rupert they quickly realized he needed a house with a yard to call his own, in 2020 they bought a house in Reisterstown, MD. Teaching each other and helping one another grow is so crucial to an exciting relationship and doing it with your best friend makes it easy and fun. Bob’s food pallet has tripled in size while Donna has learned to ice skate; they both found a knack for crafting whether its building wooden Maryland flags or refurbishing a bedroom set. After years of building their relationship, Bob knew it was time for the next step and organized both families to meet at the Inner Harbor ice rink. Nervously fidgeting, he was feeling the same way he did the first night he approached her, they took a couple laps around the rink while he professed his love for her. Bob got down on one knee and asked Donna to marry him, with a breath of excitement she said yes!
