Tom Whitaker
Tom Whitaker - Best Man
Tom is my oldest friend that has led me on my wildest adventures. We met in middle school when we were in Boy Scouts and the escapades started from there; evolving from camping in the woods and racing remote control cars to travelling the world and getting our Jeeps stuck on trails for hours. Tom was my first co-worker and since then he has been a five-star man; and that is why he is my best man.
Uyen Nguyen
Uyen Nguyen - Matron of Honor
My older sister is my role model and biggest advocate. Uyen always has my best interest in mind and I can trust that she will speak up to point me in the right direction. She has taught me so much in more ways than she even knows. I see how hard she works and try to emulate the same work ethic in my life and career. The overwhelming support she provides for me and the rest of our family is selfless and done without hesitation. Her confident, driven, and loyal attitude has done so much to help form me into the person I am today, it is only appropriate that she stands next to me as my maid of honor.
Andrew Wollein
Andrew Wollein - Groomsman
Andrew and I met early on in high school when we had shop class together and he introduced me to all the fun that could be had at Prettyboy Reservoir. This little piece of paradise became our natural habitat for the next several years while we built rope swings, canoed out to islands, and camped under the stars, not much has changed since then. Andrew is one of the most level-headed people I know that always acts with a purpose, makes me glad to have him as a friend.
Jessi Huey
Jessi Huey - Bridesmaid
Jessi and I go way back and only grow closer as time passes; we met in high school and had so many similarities, these connections blossomed into a new level of friendship when we became roommates at Towson University. Jessi’s creativity made living together such a fun experience, the walls were always changing as her giant canvas paintings were replaced regularly. Whenever I sit at our old teal table, I am reminded of the fantastic moments we shared at our apartment, the hours of “The Office” we would watch, and the long nights studying at the library.
Josh Wollein
Josh Wollein - Groomsman
Sometimes I do not think I knew what a good time was before I met Josh. As Andrews older brother, he showed us the ropes of making the best out of any situation. Although his fancy taste does not always align with mine, I can positively say that our enthusiasm for creativity and fun is complimentary. Whether it is building stadium seating for our living room, inventing an alternative game of golf in an apartment or exploring the depths of dark caves, if Josh is there, it’ll be a good time.
Bilenda Vaznaian
Bilenda Vaznaian - Bridesmaid
I met Bilenda at Towson and ever since then we take every chance to get together and experience something new. It started as casual as Bilenda coming over to take a nap after a long nursing shift, and since then we have gone kayaking, ice skating and axe throwing; we have traditional Halloween gatherings and never miss an opportunity for some Korean BBQ . Her compassion as a nurse carries over to our friendship, I can talk to her about anything with mutual honesty.
Dan Rogers
Dan Rogers - Groomsman
Dan and Andrew worked at a gas station together where I was introduced to Dan, one night I got invited to enjoy some refreshing beverages up upon the roof of the establishment. You could say this blossomed into a tradition that has led us to many roofs, from the gas station, to the house we lived in, to the warehouse roof where we watch Christmas Carolers. Dan has a relaxing and entertaining presence, there is never a dull moment.
Samantha Quintanilla
Samantha Quintanilla - Bridesmaid
During my Junior year BUSX 301 class I met Samantha, I remember this because it is part of her contact name in my phone. We clicked instantly and began studying together which resulted in becoming friends with one of the most thoughtful people I know, even when she moved to Chicago for 2 years, she was always someone who would think to call just to say “Hi”. My trip to Chicago to visit her was amazing and our regular skype dates made quarantining bearable, but I am happy to have her within driving distance again.
Julia Nguyen
Julia Nguyen - Bridesmaid
Cousins are almost like siblings and growing up, Julie was like my twin. We were in the same grade so naturally our paths collided even more then they did with our own siblings. Essentially, we were never apart; growing up we lived a couple steps away from each other, at school we both held positions on the student government and whenever there was free time, a quick trip to the beach always made it on to our schedule. Julie was by my side growing up and I am happy to have her by my side on my special day.
Mike Der
Mike Der - Groomsman
Mike is my first brother, friend, and roommate. My earliest memories have Mikey in them, and we continue to make more as we grow. I am so grateful to have a brother that we can tell stories about “remember that time” for hours, even if we tell the same story on repeat, it never gets old. Mikes spirited energy and enthusiasm always brings excitement into any conversation, I will always be proud to call him my brother.
Adam Der
Adam Der - Groomsman
Adam came along late in the game as the youngest brother and it has been so much fun to see him grow from a goofy little kid with some obnoxious habits to the smart, determined, still goofy person he is today. When I went to visit him out west recently, I was so happy to see that contagious smile, especially when we had to wake up at the crack of dawn to see the amazing sunrise he took us to see at Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm so happy to have a brother like him.
Nina Nguyen
Nina Nguyen - Bridesmaid
Nina is my younger cousin and is one of the most fun people in the family, growing up she was like a little sister that was tagging along and as soon as she enrolled in Towson, she was still ready to come along on what ever activity we decided to do. Her spontaneity makes her a great friend and down to earth attitude guarantees an honest opinion. I strive to be as care-free as she is and maybe switch things up and learn from her for a change.
