Ideally, we would prefer the adults to be in cocktail dress; however, if you do not have cocktail wear, don't know what that means, or just don't want to dress up that night, then please just come and celebrate our wedding. What matters is that we are surrounded by the people who love us, not what they are wearing. At the same time, this is Louisiana in January and the ceremony will be OUTDOORS unless it is storming, so bring a coat if it's cold.

Adam and Dorian adore all the children in their lives, so, of course, they are more than welcome to come! The couple will have a kids' table or two set up with activities for the little ones (coloring sheets, activity sheets, etc), so if you are bringing a little one who you think would be interested, please let Dorian know so that she can get an accurate head count for the kids' table.

The plan all year was to do Disneyworld, but after Dorian was told she had to have her gallbladder removed, the couple threw a dart in the dark and found out there was a Carnival cruise leaving New Orleans the day after their wedding for the Bahamas. It was meant to be! Adam and Dorian are very excited to have a stress-free honeymoon in the Caribbean on the Carnival Glory (which is the same ship they went on for their first vacation together!) . It is stopping in Key West, Freeport, and Nassau. They are most excited to visit Hemingway's house and the southernmost point in the U.S. while in Key West.

Dorian and Adam are blessed to already have the household goods that they need. Instead, they would like help with their honeymoon fund! If you can RSVP by November 26th, that would be awesome. If you're a few days late popping on here to put in your RSVP or throwing the response card in the mail (remember: you can do it either way, whatever is easiest for you!) it's OK. Dorian just needs a final head count by December 20th.

The hotel block is set for Thursday, January 5th through Sunday, January 8th.. Please book your reservation to receive the group discount by December 16.

We are going to have a big buffet out all night long, and the couple hopes everyone takes their time to go over and enjoy it throughout the night. Currently, we plan to have fried catfish, shrimp pasta, multiple carving stations, etc. We hope that with the vast variety of food available, there will be something for everyone's tastes. And at the end of the night, of course, there will be cake!

Adam was born Wallace Adam Dees on June 17, 1977 in Metarie, LA and was primarily raised in Amite, Louisiana. He works for the state for DCFS for economic stability. He has two bachelors degrees from Southeastern University -- one in accounting and one in finance. Interests include combat sports, firearms, video games, and trivia. Loves horror movies, scifi movies, and various other geek culture entertainment. Loves Dorian and can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her.

Dorian was born Dorian Leigh Hess on February 16, 1984 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She works full time as an insurance adjuster for Markel Insurance Company and part time at Torrid and as a writer. She has two bachelors degrees from Louisiana State University -- one in English and one in Anthropology -- and a Master in Writing for Screen and Television from the University of Southern California. Before becoming an insurance adjuster, Dorian spent ten years in Los Angeles as a screenwriter, ghostwriter, and novelist before moving back to Louisiana to take care of family. Dorian's ADHD hobbies include painting, woodworking, and New Age camping. She loves to travel and has been to all 7 continents, including Antarctica. She's excited to start her new life with Adam and show him the world.
