We are told by the venue that there is "ample street parking." Any time we have gone to the venue on a weekend, there is plenty of free street parking available.

Plan for cold, rainy weather. The average temperature in April ranges from 43-56 degrees. In Chicago, cold feels colder because of the lake effect. If we're lucky we'll have a sunny day in the high 50's but it's very likely that it will be much colder.

The Ravenswood and Gold Coast Neighborhoods are considered safe areas. With that being said, just like any big city, crime exists. Here are some tips for staying safe. -be aware of your surroundings -watch out for pickpockets in touristy areas -keep an eye on one another and stick together -do not get into an Uber or Lyft that you have not hired. There are random people in cars who lie and say they are with Uber or Lyft. They're tempting because they will be cheaper, but they are not registered with any rideshare apps or with the city as a certified taxi cab. Always check the license plate and match it to the plate number in your app.

We love kids! Unfortunately, between both families there are over 30 children who are cousins or second cousins. If we invited one, we'd have to invite them all, and the venue can't accomodate for that. We apologize!
