The Chicago Architecture River Cruise is something we did on our first date! We highly recommend this activity for anyone who is coming to visit Chicago. Learn the history of the river, the many bridges, and the buildings that overlook the river. There's also a bar with small snacks on the cruise.
Sarena's family are big Cubs fans. Even if you don't have time to catch a game, Wrigleyville is a fun area to visit. There is a home Cubs game on Sunday April, 20th. TBD on who they'll be playing.
Chicago is known for its cuisine! Some of our favorites include Eataly, Pizzeria Portofino, Small Cheval, Au Cheval, Portillos, Swift and Son's, Maple and Ash, Spacca Napoli, The Perch.
Cost-wise, this is a very wide range. Some of these places require a reservation a few weeks in advance, so plan ahead.
Fulton Market/West Loop Area has a ton of well known high end restaurants, most of which we have not been able to try. But it is a fun, lively area with a lot of restaurants and bars.
If you have time, we recommend checking out one of the many museums that Chicago has to offer. Below are some of our favorites.
The Shedd Aquarium
The Museum of Science and Industry
The Art Institute of Chicago
The Field Museum
