The bride and groom will be staying at Ixchel Beach Hotel. Ixchel is located directly on Playa Norte, one of the best beaches in the world. The hotel is just 70 yards/meters walking down the beach to the wedding venue Mayan Beach Club. The hotel is handicap accessible, and has elevators (not common on Isla Mujeres).

You will be charged 50% of the reservation fee at the time of booking and the other 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival. When you go to put in your payment method it will say the full amount, but only 50% is charged to your card, and it may take a couple of business days before you see the authorization on your card. They also offer free cancellation as long as it is 31 days prior to arrival, so if plans change you can cancel free of charge.

If you use an American Express credit card, they will send you an email towards the end of the month requesting your security code. This is routine and safe. You can email them back or call.

The hotel is not all-inclusive. One of the best parts of staying on the island is exploring all of the restaurants and bars. It is also not a resort or large hotel when comparing to hotels you may find in Cancun. Most of the hotels on the island are much smaller and boutique like.

Playa Arena is also located directly on Playa Norte. The hotel is just 30 yards/meters walking down the beach to the wedding venue Mayan Beach Club. The hotel does have an accessible ramp for wheelchairs, but does not have elevators. This hotel has a limited number of rooms, so book early!

Rocamar Hotel is located on the east coast of the island, with spectacular sunrise views over the ocean surf. The hotel is just 13 minutes walking through the beautiful streets of Isla Mujeres to the wedding venue Mayan Beach Club. This hotel does not have elevators.
