The RSVP through the knot is a little tricky, we are trying to work out kinks and realize that many people plan to bring their children with them. Thats no problem, we love the kids and want them to celebrate with us. If we run out of room we may designate space with appropriate supervision for them during the ceremony and they are welcome to join us again for dinner and dancing. If we don't have correct number of guest please leave us a little note in the RSVP so we can plan for everyone who plans to attend.
We encourage visiting guest to spend some time checking out the surrounding area. We plan on being around West Glacier Saturday through Monday for the wedding, But we live in Bigfork 45 minutes from the venue. Bigforks main attraction, Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. There will be a whitewater kayaking competition taking place right in town that weekend with lots of surrounding festivities.
Whitefish is a great option if you wish to see the nightlife and wildlife of the area. Its about 30 minutes from the venue.
Kalispell is very centrally located to the rest of the valley.
The attrire for our wedding is Western casual but please consider the weather as we get close to the day of the event as the venue is entirely outside. Memorial weekend in Glacier Park could be 70 and sunny (fingers crossed), but it could also be snowing sideways. Prepare for either occurences. If it is on the brisk side we will get heaters and fire pits set up to keep you toasty!
