There are many things to do within the area and a short distance away. We have taken some time to think about a few of our favorite local spots if you wanted some additional ideas!
Iron Works
~2 minute drive from most of the hotels.
Iron works is a great place to grab dinner or a cocktail. They have a wide selection of items on their menu & top notch service! Be sure to make a reservation, as they do get very busy on Friday nights.
Federal Hill in Providence, RI
~15 minute drive from most of the hotels.
Visit the historic federal hill in Providence! Federal Hill is known for its Italian food emporiums, bakeries, coffee shops, and boutiques. A couple of our favorite places to dine at, include: Camille’s & Costantino’s Venda Bar and Ristorante.
Newport, RI
~35 minute drive from most of the hotels.
Newport is another great place to check out while visiting RI! There is so much to do including, spending a day on the beach, taking a drive down Ocean Drive to see the mansions, the historic cliff walk, and there are so many delicious restaurants to dine at. A typical day for us in Newport would probably include a beach day at Second Beach in Middletown, drinks at The Landing, dollar oysters at Benjamin’s, and dinner at Diego’s in Bowens Wharf.
