Hiking. Williams Lake Trail is a great short hike right in the Ski Valley Basin. However, before undertaking any hike, beware of altitude sickness. The town of Taos sits at just under 7,000 feet and the base of Taos Ski Valley is 9,321 feet.
Ojo Caliente Hot Springs. A nice hot springs getaway. This is an established hot springs/spa, so if you are looking for something more rugged look to the internet for cool spots around Taos.
Teaography Tea Shop. Corinne used to work for Teaography, right in the heart of the Historic Taos Plaza. Dana, the owner, found her love of tea while teaching in China. She came back to Taos and started creating her own proprietary blends. This shop is a Taos treasure. Check out Dana's impeccable selection of teas.
Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. A must see sight in the Taos area. Period.
