From the Slidell/ New Orleans area, Greenville, SC is approximately 9-9.45 hours away.

Although this is a possibility, I would strongly advise to make this a weekend trip. We plan on driving up Thanksgiving day around noon and staying until Sunday afternoon. We don’t want anyone to feel rushed or pressured so please allow yourself time and grace for the weekend.😊

There are several places for guests to choose the perfect lodging but to make it easier, we selected a reception venue at the same place we will be lodging. If you choose to fly, Asheville Regional Airport (AVL/KAVL) is the closest to the lodging center/ venue! It is only 15 miles away from Highland Lake Inn and Resort.
