In&nbsp;2007,&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;met&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;at&nbsp;her&nbsp;very&nbsp;first&nbsp;job&nbsp;working&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Jackson&nbsp;10&nbsp;movie&nbsp;theater&nbsp;where&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;worked&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;manager.&nbsp;They&nbsp;worked&nbsp;alongside&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;for&nbsp;almost&nbsp;three&nbsp;years&nbsp;before&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;moved&nbsp;on&nbsp;to&nbsp;her&nbsp;first&nbsp;salon&nbsp;job&nbsp;and&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Lansing&nbsp;to&nbsp;manage&nbsp;the&nbsp;Lansing&nbsp;Mall&nbsp;Cinema.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;two&nbsp;exchanged&nbsp;numbers&nbsp;before&nbsp;they&nbsp;would&nbsp;stop&nbsp;working&nbsp;together&nbsp;though&nbsp;not&nbsp;much&nbsp;would&nbsp;come&nbsp;of&nbsp;that&nbsp;just&nbsp;yet.&nbsp;Some&nbsp;time&nbsp;would&nbsp;pass&nbsp;before&nbsp;they&nbsp;would&nbsp;connect&nbsp;again,&nbsp;however&nbsp;they&nbsp;would&nbsp;inevitably&nbsp;start&nbsp;to&nbsp;text,&nbsp;hang&nbsp;out,&nbsp;and&nbsp;&nbsp;kiss.&nbsp;Eventually,&nbsp;they&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;in&nbsp;July&nbsp;2011.&nbsp; On&nbsp;August&nbsp;21,&nbsp;2011,&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;arrived&nbsp;at&nbsp;Eileen's&nbsp;apartment&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;bouquet&nbsp;of&nbsp;roses.&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;graciously&nbsp;accepted&nbsp;the&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;flowers&nbsp;and&nbsp;thanked&nbsp;him&nbsp;for&nbsp;bringing&nbsp;them&nbsp;so&nbsp;spontaneously.&nbsp;"Anything&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;girlfriend,"&nbsp;he&nbsp;replied,&nbsp;making&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;official.&nbsp; In&nbsp;2013,&nbsp;they&nbsp;moved&nbsp;in&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;shortly&nbsp;after&nbsp;adopted&nbsp;a&nbsp;two-year-old&nbsp;dog&nbsp;named&nbsp;Marcus.&nbsp;For&nbsp;years,&nbsp;they&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;spending&nbsp;time&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;with&nbsp;friends,&nbsp;watching&nbsp;movies,&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;Tigers&nbsp;games,&nbsp;and&nbsp;cooking&nbsp;together.&nbsp;They&nbsp;even&nbsp;traveled&nbsp;to&nbsp;Scotland&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;whiskey&nbsp;adventure. In&nbsp;January&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;secretly&nbsp;bought&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;a&nbsp;gold&nbsp;braided&nbsp;band&nbsp;and&nbsp;two&nbsp;tickets&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;Tigers&nbsp;game&nbsp;on&nbsp;July&nbsp;14,&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;which&nbsp;he&nbsp;kept&nbsp;mentioning&nbsp;to&nbsp;her&nbsp;repeatedly&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;year.&nbsp;"Are&nbsp;you&nbsp;excited&nbsp;about&nbsp;the&nbsp;game!?"&nbsp;And&nbsp;"Dont&nbsp;forget&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;off!"&nbsp;He&nbsp;would&nbsp;say.&nbsp;&nbsp;At&nbsp;the&nbsp;game,&nbsp;while&nbsp;venturing&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;a&nbsp;photo,&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;suggested&nbsp;relocating&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;better&nbsp;angle&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;big&nbsp;tiger.&nbsp;As&nbsp;she&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;steps&nbsp;in&nbsp;pursuit&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;better&nbsp;spot,&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;spoke&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;her&nbsp;attention,&nbsp;"Hey!"&nbsp;Eileen&nbsp;turned&nbsp;around&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;Stephen&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;blue&nbsp;box&nbsp;in&nbsp;his&nbsp;hand.&nbsp;He&nbsp;asked,&nbsp;"Will&nbsp;you&nbsp;marry&nbsp;me?"&nbsp;She&nbsp;gasped&nbsp;and&nbsp;replied,&nbsp;"Oh&nbsp;my&nbsp;God!&nbsp;Yes,&nbsp;put&nbsp;it&nbsp;on&nbsp;me!"&nbsp;&nbsp;They&nbsp;never&nbsp;got&nbsp;the&nbsp;picture.&nbsp;&nbsp; They&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;for&nbsp;you&nbsp;to&nbsp;witness&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;in&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship!
