The average temperature in January is 70 degrees. The best time to travel to AMI is January-March since it is less crowded and cooler!

We’d love to see our friends and family get dressed up on our big day! We understand our wedding is a beach wedding so the dress code is semi-formal attire. Ladies can their best sundress (no white please)!!!!Gentleman can wear a nice button down shirt with slacks. Please no jeans!

Absolutely!! Here are some of our favorite restaurants on the island… The ugly grouper, Ginny’s & Jane E’s cafe, daiquiri deck, Feckled Fin Irish pub, The waterfront restaurant, Beach house, Rod and reel pier (best breakfast!), Skinny’s, swordfish grill, blue marlin, wicked cantina, Starfish Co (fresh seafood in Cortez), island time bar and grill, bridge tender inn, Isola Bella, The doctors office (best drinks!)

It should only take about 20 minutes to get from Bradenton to Anna Maria island..but due to heavy traffic usually on Thursdays-Sundays I suggest leaving at least an hour early. Sometimes it takes 45 minutes to go a few miles when crossing the bridge.

Either Tampa or Sarasota..Tampa will be cheaper though.

The island does have a free trolley that goes all over! There is also the “monkey bus” a bus on the island you can call for rides (I will attach their website in the “things to do” tab). There are also golf cart rentals on the island.

Since you're traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift itself! If you choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any item on the list can be shipped directly to our home address. We also believe that traveling and making memories is one of the best gifts you can give. That being said, we will also have an option if you choose to help us plan our honeymoon, experiences and make it more memorable!
