The Story began almost 20 years ago. Kelsey and Elaine both attended Seguin High School and met in a class that they shared. They began dating, but being kids and having a lot of life ahead of them, they parted ways but remained very good friends.

Through their very different paths of life, they never lost touch with each other and knew they could always find comfort during hard times.

In the beginning of 2018, their friendship grew stronger and closer than ever before. They began spending many weekends together, either at the little league fields watching Elaine's son play baseball, or hanging with their group of friends. The time together lead them both to question if there was still something more between them. In August, they decided to try dating one more time and the rest is history.

In 2022, they celebrated the annual 4th of July parade downtown. As tradition, they went to the parade with family and then all were welcome to come back to their house for BBQ and to swim.

Surrounded by their family and friends, Kelsey proposed to Elaine.
