Chris and Elena met at their high school, Coyle and Cassidy, in Taunton, MA. Although they knew of each other, they didn't start dating until their senior year. Chris claims him and Elena were in the same English class freshman year, but if you know Elena and her stellar ability to remember names, you know she doesn't remember this happening. After high school graduation, Elena stayed in Boston and attended Simmons College and studied Nursing. Chris went down to North Carolina to High Point University and studied Finance and Entrepreneurship. Following graduation, they both stared their careers in Boston. Some will say Chris came back to Boston for Elena and others say it was to start his career.

Since then, they've gone on multiple trips together and brought home their fur baby, Wrigley, a Golden Retriever from Chicago. Most recently, they've started their lives together in Quincy. On 10/22/22, Chris and Elena were in Lido Key, Florida when Chris finally asked her to marry him.
