The Ceremony

St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church

Schwenksville, PA

photo

Formed in 2006 from the union of St. Clare Parish in Linfield and St. Peter Parish in Pottstown, St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Limerick embraced its name based on suggestions from its own parishioners. The parish's deep connection to its patron saint is evident in the choice of St. Damian of Molokai for a high altar statue, reflecting Mother Teresa's own dedication to serving the marginalized. In a remarkable turn of events, a relic of St. Marianne Cope, a close collaborator of St. Damian, was placed in the altar stone, alongside a precious strand of hair from St. Teresa herself.

The parish's beautiful Gothic-style church, dedicated in 2012 by Archbishop Charles Chaput, is adorned with repurposed treasures – wooden confessionals, marble communion rails, striking stained glass, and more – all with histories from closed churches and chapels. Officially taking the name of St. Teresa of Calcutta in September 2016, following her canonization, the parish stands as a vibrant community committed to living out their faith through compassionate service, inspired by their namesake.

The Parish being just ten minutes from the Willman's Residence, Gabe and Eleni first admired the beautiful church from afar before recently beginning to regularly attend mass at St. Teresa's when possible.

The Reception

Reading Country Club

Exeter, PA

Established in 1923, the Reading Country Club emerged during the burgeoning popularity of golf in Berks County. The course's design, a thoughtful creation of Alexander H. Findlay, revered as "The Father of American Golf," reflects a deep respect for the natural landscape and masterful architectural vision. Steeped in history, the club's grounds feature the original Bishop House, a stone structure dating back to 1761 that once incorporated a fort from the French and Indian War era. Following a fire in 1930, the club unveiled its magnificent Tudor Revival-style clubhouse in 1931, a design by Reading architect and club champion Harry Maurer. This iconic building continues to boast grand dining spaces, a ballroom, and a sun parlor, embodying the club's enduring blend of history, elegance, and welcoming hospitality.

As avid golfers Eleni and Gabe frequent Reading Country Club's Course due to its convenient location just ten minutes down the road from The Geishauser Residence.

We can't wait to share this celebration with you!
