Borgo San Giuliano - The Old Fisherman's Village

La Esse Romagnola - delicious, proper Romagna food with home-made pasta, meats, charcuterie, and cheeses.

Il Retroborgo - fish and seafood, if you sit outside you're in a Fellini movie overlooking the bridge and the sea.

Marina Centro

Rock Island - for a sunset dinner atop rocks overlooking the sea. Fish and seafood, and pizza too.

Sabbioni - amazing fish and meat menu on the main shopping street near the beachfront.

Casina Del Bosco - very relaxed Piadina joint (local flatbread you will get addicted to!) with a large menu, artisanal beers, and the friendliest staff.

Lella al Mare - very similar to the above, but closer to the beachfront.

Avamposto - right next to the Rimini Ferris Wheel (or the Rimini Eye as Sam calls it), this place is the perfect mix of fish, seafood, fried delicacies, piadina, and fresh spins on local dishes.

The countryside - i Colli Riminesi

(but only if you have a car!)

Delinda - voted the best Tagliatelle in the region, this one is exquisite. Worth the hype, and amazing value for money.

Il vecchio campanile - very casual eatery with enormous portions and home-made pasta, sauces, and grilled meats.

Squadrani - similar to the above but less casual, ask to sit on the terrace to enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking Rimini's rolling hills, alongside a hearty serving of home-made pasta.

Gelato

3Bis - on the main shopping street near the beachfront.

Il Pellicano Beach - on the beachfront walkway.

La Gelateria Romana - in the town centre.

Cafes

Dalla Jole - on the harbour, a local favourite with freshly baked pastries every morning. Jole (the owner) still works there to this day!

Caffe' Pascucci - on the main strip, this cafe' does a great aperitivo too.
