There are two main airport options available for those flying from the UK: Rimini and Bologna.

Rimini Airport

Fairly small but only a 15 minute drive to the city centre, making the journey to your accommodation smooth. However flights are only available from London Stansted and on select days during the week so please bear this in mind.

Bologna Airport

Alternatively you can fly to Bologna from a variety of UK airports.

For those then looking to drive from the airport to Rimini the approximate journey time is 1 hour 15 minutes.

If you wish to get the train then there is a quick metro line (Marconi Express) ready to take you to Bologna Central station. From here you can hop on various trains (check here for the latest train times, or use the Trainline app) with the quickest journey times between 55 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Finally, there is a shuttle bus option that picks you up directly from airport departures and takes you to Rimini train station in 1 hour 30 minutes. This is quite a smooth option, but please check the website for times available. You can either book online or buy a ticket directly from the coach driver (cash or card).

N.B. Local car rental and taxi services for both cities can be found online, but please reach out if you are stuck.

We would recommend staying in Rimini as you will have easy access to numerous amenities and the wedding day coach.
