Some of our best memories in Chattanooga have taken place in the Northshore area, which is beautiful, walkable, and has lots to do. If you want a taste of all Chattanooga has to offer, this is a great place to start.
Some of our favorite spots in Northshore that are worth checking out: Be Caffeinated Coffee, Mezcla Cocina Y Cantina, and Clumpies Ice Cream.
Then you can take a stroll through Coolidge Park (where both our first date and our engagement happened) and then walk across the river to explore the rest of Downtown Chattanooga! Sadly, it sounds like the iconic Walnut Street Bridge might be closed for construction during this time, but you can still cross via the Market Street bridge which is nearby.
Oddstory Brewing is in Chattanooga's Southside neighborhood, and has been one of our favorite places to hang with friends throughout the course of our relationship! The food and beer are both great, and the spacious beer garden is always a fun vibe, especially when the weather is nice. Afterwards, you can spend some time exploring Chattanooga's Southside and check out some of our other favorite spots in the area, like Niedlov's Bakery or Burlaep Coffee. Our church, Mission Chattanooga, is also nearby if you're looking for somewhere to go on Sunday morning!
We've done our best to shout out the places that we like to hang out at regularly, but of course, if you've never spent much time in Chattanooga you may as well do some of the classic tourist attractions too! The Tennessee Aquarium, Incline Railway, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park and the Hunter Art Museum are some of the most well-known places for visitors to Chattanooga to check out.
