Q + A

Is there a dress code?

Formal Attire. Our ceremony will be held outdoors in the garden. We suggest that gentlemen wear button-down dress shirts with slacks with a suit jacket and tie optional. We suggest that ladies wear dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt, and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivories and creams.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Guests should arrive about fifteen minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure everyone is on time.

How do I get to the venue?

Lairmont Manor is located at 405 Fieldston Rd, Bellingham, WA 98225.

Are children welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise stated on your RSVP. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outside in the garden, while the cocktail hour and the reception will be on the lawn under the tent. Dancing will be held in the ballroom.

Is there parking avaliable?

Lairmont Manor does have parking available. If you know other guests attending the wedding, we do strongly encourage carpooling.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We have 2 experienced photographers capturing our day so we kindly request an unplugged ceremony. After the ceremony please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us! We will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding!

Can I post pictures to social media?

Of course! All we ask is that you wait until the day after the wedding and use our hashtag, #cooleycouple2024

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

We'll serve hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a buffet with a selection of entrees and salads. Followed by a dessert bar with a selection of cupcakes and cookies.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! We will have a specialty cocktail as well as beer and wine. No hard liquor will be permitted.

I have more questions about the wedding, who can I contact?

Please contact the maid of honor, Jada Biesheuvel at 360-305-9804.
