When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding will take place on July 26th, 2025, at 1 pm at Sacred Heart Church in Colorado Springs. The reception will follow at the Falcon Club on the Air Force Academy.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal. Floor-length gowns, formal dresses, suits, or tuxedos are appropriate. Our theme has a Mexican/Hacienda flair, so bright colors and festive details are welcome. We want everyone to feel their best in attire that suits both the occasion and their personal style.

Ceremony Details
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please arrive by 12:30 pm to find your seat and be ready for the ceremony to start promptly at 1 pm.
How do I get to Sacred Heart Church?
Sacred Heart Church is located at 2030 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
It’s in Old Colorado City, west of I-25, at the corner of 21st St. and Colorado Ave. Parking is available in the church lot, with handicap-accessible spaces.
What type of ceremony will it be?
It will be a traditional Catholic ceremony, including a full Mass with Holy Communion, lasting about an hour. If you're unfamiliar with a Catholic Mass, just follow along and enjoy the celebration.
What should I expect during a Catholic Mass?
A Catholic Mass includes readings from the Bible, prayers, hymns, and the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Guests may be invited to participate in certain parts, such as standing, kneeling, and responding to prayers. Non-Catholic guests are welcome to participate as much as they feel comfortable, but should not receive Communion.
Is photography allowed during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our photographers to capture the moment without distractions. Feel free to take photos during the reception.

What time does the reception start?
The reception will start with a cocktail hour at 4 pm at the Falcon Club, followed by dinner and dancing.
Where is the reception venue located?
The reception will be held at the Falcon Club on the Air Force Academy. The address is 3120 Academy Drive, USAF Academy, CO 80840. The drive from Sacred Heart Church to the Falcon Club takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
What are the meal options for the reception?
Guests can choose between a beef entrée, a chicken entrée, or a vegetarian option.
Can I change my meal choice after submitting my RSVP?
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes, but meal selections are finalized in advance. If you need to update your choice, please let us know as soon as possible.
Will there be alcohol at the reception?
Yes, there will be a limited bar. Each adult guest will receive two drink tickets from us, and additional drinks will be available for purchase.
Are there options for guests with dietary restrictions?
Yes, please inform us of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will ensure there are suitable options available.
Accessing the Air Force Academy
How do I get to the Falcon Club on the Air Force Academy?
The Falcon Club is located at 3120 Academy Drive, USAF Academy, CO 80840. Visitors can enter through either the South Gate (Exit 150) or the North Gate (Exit 156) from Interstate 25. The drive from Sacred Heart Church to the Falcon Club is approximately 30-40 minutes.
What should I know about entering the Air Force Academy?
The Air Force Academy is an "Open Base" with specific entry requirements. All guests over 18 must present a valid state-issued ID, Defense Department ID, or passport at the gate. Expired IDs are not accepted. Be prepared for random vehicle inspections, and have your car registration and proof of insurance available. All vehicles may be inspected by security personnel.
Are there restrictions on what I can bring onto the base?
Yes, there are strict restrictions. Firearms, drugs (including marijuana, which is legal in Colorado but federally illegal), and other contraband are prohibited. Concealed carry is allowed only for credentialed personnel and must remain in the vehicle. Open carry of firearms is not permitted on the Academy grounds.
What if I have foreign national guests?
Non-US citizens with a foreign passport must obtain a pass from the Pass and Registration Office (PRO) to enter the base. This process can take up to 72 hours. Passport information can be provided in advance via email to 10SFS.S5B@us.af.mil, but guests must still visit the PRO in person to receive the pass. Travel and Accommodation
Are there any recommended hotels nearby?
While we don’t have a reserved hotel block, there are plenty of great options in Colorado Springs, especially near downtown, Garden of the Gods, or the Air Force Academy. We recommend booking early to secure the best rates.
Is there parking available at the Falcon Club?
Yes, there is ample parking available at the Falcon Club.
Can I use ride-sharing services like Uber?
Yes, Ubers are allowed on and off the base for your convenience.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Please refer to your invitation regarding plus-ones. If your invitation includes "and Guest," then you may bring a plus-one. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo.

Only children specified on the invitation are invited. We appreciate your understanding.
Miscellaneous
Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?
Yes, there will be a short gap. The ceremony ends around 2 pm, and the cocktail hour starts at 4 pm at the Falcon Club. Guests are welcome to explore the beautiful area of Colorado Springs during this time.
Can I take photos at your wedding?
We would love for you to take photos during the reception, but we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our photographers to capture the moment.
