Our Wedding

Jimmy and I met during the track season in the spring of 2015 at Barnstead Elementary School. We were 12 and 13 when we became friends. Throughout the spring track season we spent more and more time together, walking (instead of running) the trails behind the school together talking, laughing and detouring off to a little bridge over a river in the woods. By the end of the season we went to the eighth grade semi formal together where we had our first slow dance to “I want to know what love is” by Foreigner. Little did we know what our future held together. 	With a brief break between middle and high school we reconnected at a Halloween dance in 2016, during our Freshman and Sophomore year. From there our relationship flourished with spending summers at the lake and on the hammock in the backyard. Semi formals, proms, high school and college graduations came and went, while the years flew by but we continued to choose each other again and again, year after year.	In October of 2024 on our 8 year anniversary, Jimmy proposed to me right at the place where everything started. On a rickety bridge that holds precious memories, on a forgotten trail behind the school, he asked me to marry him. Which brings us to today and the start of our futures as fiancés and soon to be husband and wife. 	We are both very excited to start this new adventure as Mr. And Mrs, and we are grateful for you for joining us on our special day. Our wedding dress code is Semi-Formal attire. We ask that men wear khakis or slacks with a nice button down and that women wear dresses or a nice alternative. Any length of dress is fine.
