Our CRAZY story

Well, well. Where do we begin?

Adam and I met at a party at Bruce and Jennifer's ( Adam's parents) lake house. I was a musician for the party and he thought I had pretty hair. LOL! A close friend dared him to leave with a number by the end of the night and he did!

I friend zoned him harddddd. He didn't like it very much, but he continued to show me he was a loving and caring friend. One night he gave me a forehead kiss before I left and that changed things. I thought about that sweet little forehead kiss the whole ride home. The next day he said that we needed to talk, and told me that he wanted to know if he had a chance with me or not. I decided to give him a try.

We had the best time ever... until life got in the way.

Life came and rocked the boat. Our relationship got rocky and I had to call it quits... on an engagement. I realized we both needed space and time to re-evaluate things. We were both heart broken. We didn't want to break up, but we both knew that was what God was asking us to do.

During that break both of us started therapy and deepened our relationship with the Lord. We remained close friends. We realized It was so hard to not talk everyday, and share our big moments with one another. Neither one of us wanted to date anyone else... Without being official, we started hanging out more and more, and eventually Adam said we should start dating again.

I will be honest, that was scary. What if we got close and then broke up again? What if it hurt us both more, than helped us? We vowed to pray about it. We prayed for several days, and came to the conclusion that we could start dating again.

This time around things were different. We were different. We were more caring, compassionate, loving, communicative, healthy and level headed than before. After re-centering our relationship on Jesus, Adam asked me to marry me him on December 21st. And I said yes!
