The day we told our parents we were dating.

The first time I told Adam I love you. He had said it a bunch first, but I wanted to be 100% sure.

My family and I played for the BudLite San Antonio St. Patricks Day festival, and Adam and his family joined us! We had a blast!

This was my first time meeting Adam's best friend Jared! He's a really cool guy!

This is one of the most precious moments of our relationship. I had told Adam one of my dreams was to dance in the rain with my best friend. It started to rain and he grabbed my hand and said he wanted to make my dream come true... And he hates being in the rain. <3

Adam wanted to take me to STL to see the arch! So Jennifer, Bruce and Eric all tagged along and we made it a mini vacation!

Later that month, we visited my aunt and uncle in Oklahoma! I got to show Adam the OSU campus, Hideaway Pizza, and enjoy playing games with my aunt and uncle!

Around December, we took a break. We saw some unhealthy things in our relationship, and in our personal lives that needed to be fixed if we wanted to continue. The healing process included all kinds of things, like Adam learning to communicate, me going and doing things on my own and gaining independence, us both learning how to be in a healthy relationship, and learning to trust each other. We remained very close and realized this whole "not dating" thing was really hard.

August was a month of HUGE change. I moved out for the first time and chopped off all my hair. Adam had officially had his house for a year, and by this time we were dating again, but nothing serious. We were dedicated to each other, but enjoying dating. Both of us had changed a lot, thanks to big life changes, therapy, and most importantly God, and we wanted to make sure we took that into consideration.

This was the weekend that changed everything. I went to Nashville for my friends wedding and then came back and went to Eureka Springs for the Zombie Crawl. We started considering marriage. We prayed about it for a long time.

This was the day that Adam proposed... And I did say yes.
