Our Story

We first met on the cross country team during college at the University of Texas at Dallas. We became friends over summer before school even started.
We start dating

For our first date, we had barbeque and went to the Dallas Arboretum. It was a lot of fun and very exciting, however I (Joseph) would not recommend going to the arboretum in January......
I also made a special dessert for Elizabeth (pictured below).

Our Engagement!

I (Joseph) surprised Chimitt in Austin while on our winter break. Usually I am at home in Cincinnati all break, but I flew to Austin right before New Years came around. With the help of Matthew, Elizabeth's brother, I snuck up on Chimitt while she was at an overlook in Austin called Mount Bonnell. She was so surprised but said yes! It was a great day.
Graduation!
Future plans
Following graduation, Joseph matriculated into Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He will continue to be there until he graduates in 2027.
Elizabeth took and passed her CPA exams to become a certified public accountant in the state of Texas. She currently works for BDO in Dallas and will earn her certification after working there for a year. After we get married, she plans to move to Ohio and continue working for BDO remotely.
