Our Wedding

Bride: It's funny how somebody can be in your life for years without you fully seeing them, knowing them. Before things change from proximity to true closeness. Neither of us was aware of what would one day fall so perfectly into place. From the very first date, what had been subtle quickly became undeniable. We found ourselves falling truly, deeply, and completely in love.The kind of love that gives you the space to heal, to grow, to learn, to laugh, and to thrive. The kind that makes you believe in the invisible string that was always slowly leading you to where you're meant to be. The kind of love that you know is forever. Groom: It all started with a bag of sugar and tea needing to be brewed. She was always so sweet when she would ask for things when we worked together. I always would check in on how her school was going when she was working on her master's program. Then one day she sent me a cat meme, and I sent about 5 back. We have talked every day since. I never thought someone could love me so completely, and I can't wait to call her my wife.

Alexis and I met in college and quickly found out we had so much in common. A deep understanding of and appreciation for our similarities and differences came easy. We have seen each other through so many major life events and changes. She brings so much kindness and courage into my life. She helps me to grow.

Libby and I met in a way that represents our relationship, full of adventure and travel (study abroad). Between beaches, amusement parks, and major land marks, we have sprinkled so much fun into life. She brings me adventure and strength. She helps me to be bold.

I don't know if there is a person who knows me more inside and out. Kelcie has been in my life since childhood and has seen unfiltered wildness and loved me for it. She brings so much security and comfort into my life and encourages me to continue to grow. She helps me remember how far I've come .

Kelsie and I met through Longhorn and a run in at UT library. Which is fitting, as she reconnected me to my love of reading, for which I am very grateful. Kelsie connects me to fantasy and to truth. She brings so much energy and expression into my life. She helps me to be unapologetically me.

Daria and I met in HSS and found a shared love of cultural experiences and expression. We have seen so much of the world together. She has been a reliable, considerate friend. She brings me patience and grace. She helps me to feel grounded.

Jasmine and I have endured everything life has had to throw and to offer. We have experienced deep sorrows and beautiful wins. She is both family and friend, and I love her deeply and unconditionally. She brings me chaos and happiness. She helps me to heal.

I met Bri and found we had a few shared friends already. She has always been so supportive while also providing helpful reality checks. She is always so helpful and kind in planning and in processing. She brings me creativity and sensibility. She helps me to feel true.

My dad has always meant so much to me and contributed so much to how I see the world, see others, and see myself. As a little kid, he was my hero, and now, as an adult, he is my inspiration. I had the honor of supporting him as his best man, and it makes so much sense for him to continue to support me, as he always has, as my best man. 

For over a decade, Grant has been a major part of my life. From game nights to heart breaks, we have been through thick and thin together. Our friendship has only grown stronger across all waves of life, he has always been there, and I would feel honored for him to be by my side as I take this step into this next phase of life. 

Grant

Matt and I could talk forever about everything and about nothing at all. We share so many interests and he has introduced me to so many passions. He is always there to lend an ear and knows that goes both ways. He has been a great emotional support as we grow through life. 

Matt

I deeply value Mac's perspective and advice. They make the work day so much shorter and more enjoyable, and I have appreciated having the opportunity to share our skills and our lives. Mac is so reliable and so dependable, and I am grateful to have their support on this day.  

My best friend, and son. There is no one i would trust more to bear our rings. He loves raccoons, and animals in general, the sweetest kid I know.

Helix

The ultimate homie, he helped me so much when I was at my lowest, and now he can help me with my biggest day. Reliable, and trustworthy, and never scared to go out of his way to help a friend. He's a little shy though, or he would be standing next to me.

Wedding Party

We kindly ask guests to wear formal attire (floor-length gowns, dressy pantsuits, suit and tie, etc.) to create an elegant, sophisticated look. Tux not required. To honor our wedding party colors, we ask that guests please avoid wearing gold or champagne clothing.Guests are recommended to wear neutral or muted colors (e.g., brown, tan, dark or light green, light pink, baby blue, etc.).

Those within the standing wedding party are asked to use Azazie metallic gold for dresses/ties. Those within the seated wedding party are asked to use Azazie floral champagne.
