Wedding
Am I allowed to bring a guest to the wedding?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one.
Am I able to have someone room with me even if they aren't able to attend the wedding?
Certainly. Recognizing the expenses associated with attending a destination wedding, we fully welcome guests to share their room with someone who isn't a guest at the wedding events.
Do I have to participate in all events to attend the wedding?
Although we would love for everyone to be part of all the wedding festivities we understand if guests are limited in the amount of days they
can attend.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Formal attire - Floor length gowns or suit with a jacket
Color - Shades of brown, nudes, and golds for the ceremony/reception.
In keeping with the elegant and warm atmosphere we envision, we kindly request that our guests embrace formal attire wearing shades of brown, nudes, and golds for the ceremony. These colors not only compliment the overall aesthetic but also contribute to the beautiful and cohesive look we're aiming for.
Will there be free time to book tours and excursions?
Absolutely! We've planned our schedule with the intention of giving guests ample opportunity to both join in our celebrations and enjoy some free time daily to relax or discover the surroundings at their own pace. Closer to the wedding, we'll share a link featuring various tours you might want to consider during your stay.
Can I bring my children?
We wholeheartedly welcome children to join us at the resort for the family vacation aspect of our wedding festivities. We value the presence of the little ones and understand the importance of family bonding during this joyous time.
However, we kindly request that certain events, particularly our wedding ceremony and reception, be attended by adults only. Great news, there are Nanny opportunities on the resort and kid play areas too! The play area for children included in the resort closes at 10pm nightly.
Travel
What airport should I fly into?
You should fly into Cancun International Airport which is Airport Code CUN.
Is transportation included?
Transportation is included for those staying 4 nights or more at the resort.
How long does it take to get a passport?
Passports are currently taking 8 - 11 weeks on average to come in, but we recommend taking care of this or any passport renewals at your earliest opportunity to be on the safe side since wait times can always change. Details to apply for a passport can be found on the travel page of our wedding website.
Is it mandatory to reserve our room via the link in the accommodations section?
Yes, it is necessary. The resort's wedding department will use the list from our specially reserved room block to confirm the number of attendees for our events. If you choose to stay or book elsewhere, either on the same site or at a different resort, and not within our reserved block, you may incur fees up to $300 per person, per day, to attend the scheduled events.
For further inquiries about room bookings, please don’t hesitate to reach out to travelplanning@flightclubvip.com.
Accommodations
Can I really eat and drink as much as I'd like at no additional cost?
Certainly! You are welcome to indulge in any items from the menus and order as many drinks as you comfortably can, keeping responsibility in mind. Everything, including 24/7 room service, is included.
Are payment plans available
Absolutely! We require guests to make a deposit to confirm their room reservation. The balance is due by October 11th, 2024, allowing guests the flexibility to make payments towards their stay at their convenience.
Am I able to have more than four people in a standard room?
An exception can only be made if there is a child under 3 years old. At the time of booking, please add the four older travelers, then add the child under 3 to the booking form that you'll complete to confirm your booking. We will have the baby added manually to the reservation. Otherwise, we recommend reserving a Family Suite which can accomodate six travelers.
