Winter, spring, summer, fall – Huntsville Botanical Garden is a sanctuary for all seasons. Bird-watching,&nbsp;gardening,&nbsp;plant enthusiasts or nature lovers can find a program or event to enhance their knowledge and feed their passion. Whether it’s a Girls Night Out, summer camp for kids, cooking classes or wine tastings, there is always “something growing on” at Huntsville Botanical Garden.All guests will have complimentary access to the grounds throughout our wedding day. Please let the ticket counter employee know that you are a guest of the Griffith-Lomax Wedding.

Huntsville is home to the largest space museum in the world – the U.S. Space &amp; Rocket Center. When you visit this attraction, you can’t help but feel the anticipation Dr. Wernher von Braun and his team must have felt as they prepared to put man on the moon. Where else can one stand beneath the world’s only full-stack Space Shuttle or walk the length of a suspended authentic Saturn V moon rocket? Enjoy exhibits, the planetarium, rides, and more!&nbsp;

In the century-old building that was once all work and no play, the reimagined Stovehouse complex is now manufacturing leisure! Visit for eclectic restaurants, gourmet cocktail and coffee bars, event and entertainment spaces, boutique shopping, and more.

Monte Sano Nature Preserve is one of the largest urban land preserves in the United States. &nbsp;Only two miles from Downtown Huntsville, this 1100+ acre natural escape features over 22 miles of free public trails for hiking, biking, and outdoor recreation. Land Trust trails on Monte Sano offer varying levels of difficulty and also connect to trail networks managed by&nbsp;Monte Sano State Parkand&nbsp;Burritt on the Mountain. This nature preserve showcases the importance of conservation with an abundance of native&nbsp;wildflowers, karst features, historically significant sites, sink holes, waterfalls and more.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 p.m. We ask that all guests arrive no later than 5:45 p.m.

What is the dress code? 

Cocktail attire is appropriate for the evening's events. We recommend cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

This is extremely important to us! We respectfully ask that you refrain from using any cell phones, iPads, cameras, or recording devices of any kind during our ceremony and invite you to be fully present in the moment with us. We have a fantastic photographer and videographer who will capture the big moments. However, please take all the pictures you want following the ceremony.

Where do I park? 

Free parking is available at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.
