This is our first picture together! We met in our freshman year of high school in marching band. This picture was taken at our last field competition for the marching season (little did we know the journey that was ahead of us)!

At the end of every school year we had a band banquet where everyone got together, dressed all fancy, and our band director gave out awards. This year, Cj won "Most Improved"!

Though we decided to cut our high school band journey short, we still had so many music making memories ahead of us. This picture was taken at our last concert band performance. Fun fact: we had both learned new instruments for our last semester!

This picture was taken in Lake Tahoe on one of our many trips together. We drove up with Ellie's mom and brothers and had such an amazing time! This was at the end of the Eagle Rock trail. It was beautiful!

Sadly, because of COVID, we didn't get a normal prom. However, we still wanted to get pictures so we asked Cj's sister, Emily, if she could take our prom pictures and they turned out great! After we finished, we decided to ditch the school "prom" and get dinner instead.

Closing our high school chapter together was such a surreal experience. We both worked extremely hard and graduated with honors! Although we didn't get to graduate with everyone from our class, it was amazing to get the opportunity to walk together.

This picture was taken at Universal Studios and it was actually Ellie's first time at the park! It was so fun to get to ride all of the rides. Plus, since people were still social distancing, there was hardly any wait!

Surprisingly, this is one of the only pictures we have together with our beloved boy, Sir! We had adopted him back in 2020 and he's been with us ever since. He's the cutest guy ever!

This picture was taken in Mammoth at June Lake! We went up to watch Ellie's sister-in-law, Michelle, race in the Trailfest. The whole trip we had been talking about how amazing it would be to get married in the mountains and how we wanted to get engaged. Little did Ellie know, Cj already had the ring hidden at home!

And finally, the trip of a lifetime! Cj's mom, Maritza, invited us on a trip to the Bahamas! On this day we woke up at 5:00am to watch the sunrise at Jaws Beach (yes, where they filmed the movie!) We walked around for a little bit and then Cj popped the question! He was very nervous. After we had taken some pictures, we drove around the island and talked about our plans for the future. Then we came back and let everyone know! It was the happiest day of our lives.
