First time meeting in Eau Claire! Lizzie’s friend Emma (also Matt’s cousin) is the reason why we are here today since she initially introduced the two of us in the spring of 2020! Matt came to visit Lizzie for the first time in June and we hit it off right away.

A very memorable weekend in the fall of 2020 when Lizzie told Matt “I love you” for the first time! This weekend was filled with so many fun memories including playing kickball with our best friends and porch game nights at Lizzie’s college house! This weekend definitely solidified how both of us felt about each other.

Officially started dating on October 23, 2020! This picture came not long after when we celebrated Halloween at Lizzie’s college house as Bonnie and Clyde.

Post-grad life consisted of lots of visits to friends, Matt passing his CPA exams, Lizzie passing her NCLEX, and moving to the Twin Cities!

In the summer of 2022 we traveled to Europe together for two weeks! We spent time in Ireland, Scotland, and Italy. It was a trip we’ll remember forever.

One of the best moments in our relationship journey was when we brought our vizsla puppy, Finnegan, home! He has made us laugh harder than we thought possible and the joy he brings us daily is immeasurable. We love our little family!

In June of 2024 we bought our first house together!

June 15, 2024 we got engaged and said yes to forever together! Matt proposed to Lizzie in one of their favorite towns, Eau Claire, WI.
