Jon and Liz met in college in 2013 on the luckiest day of the year…Saint Patrick’s Day! They actually took this picture together on the first day that they met! Jon saw Liz from across a crowded room and was determined to get to know her. They spent the rest of that day, and everyday since, talking to one another.

Since that day, they’ve been inseparable. Jon & Liz spent the rest of their college years together at Saint Joseph’s University exploring more of Philadelphia, making lifelong friends, getting to know each other’s families, and sharing new experiences and adventures. After college, they both began their careers; Jon in finance and Liz as a special education teacher. The two have spent the last decade making Philadelphia their home together and in 2021, they became dog parents to their Black Lab, Penny! Over the last 11 years, Jon & Liz have truly grown together in tandem as partners, teammates, and loving best friends who will always support the other.

On December 16, 2023, Jon proposed to Liz on American Street; a quiet, cobblestoned road in Old City, Philadelphia. They are so excited to begin the next chapter of their love story together as husband and wife.
