Lodging Information We will be hosting all guests on-site at our wedding venue. Once RSVPs are received, we’ll finalize and share room assignments. The property includes individual apartments accommodating 2–7 guests each, and we’ll organize placements based on guest pairings and availability. Our stay will run from September 14–17, 2026. While we would love for everyone to stay for the full duration, we understand if you’re unable to do so. Please indicate your expected arrival and departure dates with your RSVP. Check-in: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM(Early check-in may be requested depending on availability.)Check-out: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM(Late check-out is available at €50.00 per hour per apartment.) Accommodation costs will be managed collectively, and payment will be made directly to us (David and Elizabeth).

Nearest Airports

We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR), as it is the closest airport to the venue and typically offers the most convenient travel time. Alternatively, guests may choose Pisa International Airport (PSA) or Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), which may provide additional flight options or more competitive pricing. All three airports serve international travelers and connect well to Tuscany. Florence Airport is approximately 45–60 minutes from the venue by car. Pisa and Bologna airports are farther, with travel times typically between one and two hours depending on route and traffic. Because most guests will be flying in from the United States, we suggest comparing flight options across all three airports to determine the most practical and cost-effective itinerary. Guests will be responsible for arranging their own transportation once they arrive.

Transportation to the Venue

Transportation from the airport to the venue is not provided. Most guests elect to rent a car, which allows for flexibility and makes it easier to explore nearby towns during the stay. A private transfer or taxi service may also be arranged if preferred and can be booked in advance directly through local service providers. For guests who do not wish to drive, it is possible to take the train to a nearby town—such as Florence or Poggibonsi—and then complete the final portion of the journey by taxi. This option may be less direct, but is available for those not planning to rent a vehicle. Once travel is confirmed, guests are welcome to inform us of their expected arrival time so we can ensure a smooth welcome at the venue.

Things To Do During Your Stay

Our venue is located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills. While most of our time will be spent celebrating together, there are a number of activities available on-site and nearby if you’d like to explore or unwind during downtime.

Wine Experiences

A weekday wine tour and tasting at the estate is included in the accommodation. Guests interested in additional wine experiences or guided tastings may be able to arrange these directly with the venue, depending on availability and cost. Cooking Classes

Guests have the option to book a traditional Tuscan cooking class directly with the venue. Availability may depend on group size and timing, so advance inquiry is recommended. If this is of interest, details can be requested from the venue and we are happy to help coordinate if needed.

Pools and Relaxation

There are two outdoor swimming pools available, weather permitting. The venue also offers quiet outdoor areas for sitting, reading, or enjoying the views of the countryside.

Tennis, ping-pong, bicycle paths, and walking trails are located on the property. These may be enjoyed at your leisure during the stay. Exploring Nearby Towns

Barberino Tavarnelle and Castellina in Chianti are the nearest towns and offer restaurants, cafés, and small shops. As the venue is set in a remote countryside location, renting a car is recommended for anyone planning to explore locally during the stay.

Whether you choose to sit by the pool, explore a nearby village, or simply enjoy the views with a glass of wine, we hope you treat the stay as a chance to slow down and take in the landscape.
