Our story started in 2016, at our local ice cream shop called Zwahlen’s. Alex had been working there for about three years when I started in my senior year of high school. Our manager just happened to be Alex’s wonderful grandma, Owenna

After hearing all the amazing things Owenna had to say about her grandson I was excited to meet him. What started as casual conversations behind the counter quickly turned into something more. By the time I graduated high school, we were officially together—and the rest, as they say, is history.

Over the next eight years, we grew together through weekend road trips, college transfers, new jobs, and first apartments. No matter where life took us, we always got through it together.

In 2023, after six years together, on Christmas morning, I opened one last carefully wrapped gift to find a ring. That’s when Alex got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever, and now we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!

On April 8, 2017 Alex asked me to be his girlfriend and now eight years, seven months and eight days later I get to become his wife. November 16, 2025 can’t come soon enough.
