Paid street parking and nearby parking garages are available around the church; there is free parking a short walk away. Our Wedding

Our Story -from Micah’s perspective If you know us, you would not be surprised by how we met. Independent Presbyterian Church hosted the Reformation Worship Conference, and we met in one of the lectures. It was on hymns by Isaac Watts. We spoke for just a few minutes, but it left an impression on both of us. Months later, I saw Elizabeth's Facebook profile recommended multiple times. I thought she was cute and sent her a friend request. I noticed Elizabeth's weekly Bible verse posts. A month later, Elizabeth posted a video of men singing at the Orthodox Presbyterian General Assembly. I was intrigued and figured it was a good opportunity to talk to a pretty girl! We had a FaceTime call that Saturday, and after the call, I knew I needed to visit her and was planning to visit as soon as possible. We had a great first trip, really hit it off and the rest is history!God has truly been so gracious to us!

Forsyth ParkEnjoy a relaxing day in this historic park! Picnic in the sun, rest in the shade, and get a refreshment or two at the Collins Quarter Cafe.

Explore the Historic SquaresAnother gem of downtown Savannah is its 22 historic squares. They are like little parks to explore, each with unique things to enjoy. We love Chippewa Square and took our engagement pictures in Troup Square.

River Street &amp; Plant Riverside DistrictThis historic street along the Savannah River is a great place to visit. It has beautiful views, fun shops, a museum in the hotel, and is a great place for a stroll. At the end of the street, you can hop on a free ferry ride across the river every half-hour. Elizabeth and Micah ended their first date here.

Skidaway Island State Park A quiet coastal escape just outside the city with scenic trails, boardwalks, and wildlife views. This spot is especially sweet because it’s where Elizabeth and Micah went on their first date.

Tybee Island Tybee Island is only 25 minutes from Savannah, and it’s a great way to cool off and enjoy the summer weather. Elizabeth and Micah watched the sunrise at Tybee every time Micah visited during the first months of their relationship.
