Frequently Asked Questions
Attire
These festivities request formal or semi-formal attire, such as gowns, suits, and cocktail wear. This is a great opportunity to wear those heels you’ve been breaking in or don your new cuff links! Please, no jeans, polos, or sneakers.
If you are interested in joining the themes, colors, and vibes of the celebration, inspiration can be taken from glamorous jewel tones, romantic old manors, and alluring starry nights. Think more James Bond, less Bridgerton. Of course, this is entirely optional, but if you enjoy a theme as much as the couple, please feel free to partake.
Parking & travel
The Manor House has a free parking lot for wedding guests. There is not much public transportation in the area, so driving or taking a car service is recommended.
Photos, Video, & Socials
While the couple loves that you want to capture moments from this special day, they kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. A professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for the ceremony. However, please feel free to capture anything you wish during cocktail hour and the reception.
Children & Plus Ones
Due to venue capacity, attendance is limited to invited guests only. Your understanding is appreciated.
While the couple loves children, these festivities are most appropriate for adults and children over the age of 10. As such, attendance is limited to adults and children ten years or older. The only exception is the bride's eldest nephew, who has a very important job to complete as Ring Bearer.
registry
Your presence at this celebration is the ultimate gift, but if you choose to go above and beyond, know that your generosity means so much.
You may have noticed the couple's wedding registry is somewhat atypical. After living together for near a decade, they've accumulated many of the items commonly found on most registries. As such, please instead consider contributing to the couple's honeymoon fund so they may continue their passion for travel as newlyweds.
Alternatively, you may instead consider donating to either charity of the bride's or groom's choice (Under the tab marked 'Our Charities) as they are both causes for which they each feel passionate.
Dietary needs & allergies
The Manor House staff are eager to accommodate your dietary restrictions or allergies, so please reiterate your needs when you fill out your RSVP. As the bride is vegetarian, there are plans to have many vegan and vegetarian options for dinner, dessert, and small bites!
Accessibility
All spaces open to guests during the ceremony and reception at the Manor House are fully ADA accessible, but if you have specific concerns or comments concerning access needs, please be sure to mention them in your RSVP. There are gender neutral restrooms and gendered restrooms on site.
Things to do
Ella and Zane chose Colorado for the site of their wedding as they have countless fond memories exploring the natural beauty of the scenery and enjoying the many things to do in the surrounding area. If you're taking an extra few days in town, a few of the couple's 'must-see' attractions can be found under the Things To Do tab.
altitude
Denver, Colorado, is about 5,280 feet above sea level; there's a reason it's called the Mile High City! Adjusting to that altitude can take time for new visitors, especially when skiing, biking, hiking, or generally being active in the thinner air. If you're concerned about altitude sickness, guests are recommended to prepare for the possibilities of light headaches or stomach upset. However, for most, your body acclimates to the altitude over time with plenty of water and extra snacks!
Covid-19
The couple highly encourages ALL GUESTS to test for COVID-19 between 2 and 5 days prior to travel and attendance at the festivities. If you feel sick, have symptoms, or test positive, regretfully, the couple asks that you refrain from attending and instead focus on healing. It is recommended that you receive an updated COVID-19 vaccination prior to your travels and wear a mask if you are concerned about getting sick.
