Ellie and Keith met the modern way: by swiping right on a dating app in 2018. Their first date was at a Mediterranean restaurant in Fayetteville. However, it was a bit of a disaster, and they ended up at a party that had Keith's friends wondering if Ellie would ever come back. Thankfully, though, Keith hadn't entirely scared Ellie off, and she agreed to a second date at one of her favorite sushi restaurants. Ever since then, the couple has been inseparable.

Some of their favorite activities are cooking together, discovering and trying new restaurants around NWA, taking Arlo and Taro for walks, and spending their evenings curled up on the couch binging the latest episodes of their favorite shows. They love blaring music in the car, and Ellie has slowly introduced Keith to the world of coffee, namely 7brew, and the early morning farmer's market.

Keith asked Ellie's parents for their blessing in April and soon after proposed on May 29, 2022. The couple decided to keep the proposal a secret for a little while and simply enjoyed the new and thrilling chapter they were stepping into. They eventually announced the proposal in person to their friends and family during a housewarming party and received overwhelming love and excitement.
