Q + A

Creative Formal Attire

The dress code for our wedding is Creative Formal which includes dresses with embellishments and funky patterns as well as suits with colorful details such as patterned pocket squares and ties. Women can choose between a midi-length cocktail dress or a full-length gown. Men should wear suits with a shirt and tie. It's a night of celebration, and the couple encourages everyone to dress as extravagantly as they feel comfortable and use the night as an excuse to wear something extra special. There is no such thing as being overdressed for this occasion. Please be mindful that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, so be conscious of footwear and temperature.

How do I RSVP?

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for our special day. On the back of the invitation, there is a link to let us know your plans right here on our website. Or you can email the bride at ellencxbutler@gmail.com if you do not feel comfortable RSVP on the website.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please get us your RSVP by April 15, 2024.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What should I expect after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures on the property for around an hour. Guests can head to the outdoor cocktail space located near the reception hall where drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Dinner will be served around 5:30 pm, with dessert and dancing to follow.

Will there be a bar?

Our bar will be limited to beer, wine, hard seltzer, and two signature cocktails. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise.

Is there an area to smoke?

There are designated areas around the building where you can smoke at that are marked by a sign.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Cocktail hour will consist of a grazing table as well as a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The food at the reception will be traditional Filipino food followed by a dessert table.

Can I bring my partner?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same space. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber/Lyft is a great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

We are registered a few places and you can find the details on our registry page.
