Shuttle Information

Shuttle meeting point: Hampton Inn Downtown (205 Main St, Grand Junction, CO 81501). The shuttle is a school bus! There will be 2 rounds of shuttles: shuttles will depart the hotel at 3:00 and 3:30 PM for the 4 PM ceremony, and will depart the venue at 9:45 and 10:15 PM to go to Ramblebine Brewery for the afterparty. Please note: the bus can only hold 48 people. Since we have 60-80 guests planning to ride, space may be limited on the second round. If you’re able, please hop on the early shuttle to help ensure everyone has a smooth ride to the celebration! For those who aren't able to join for the afterparty, the drop-off location at Ramblebine is a 5-minute walk from the hotel!

How do I get to Grand Junction?

There are a few options for travel to Grand Junction. 1. Fly directly to the Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT). This is the most convenient option, but flights will likely be more expensive. 2. Fly into Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ). Montrose often has cheaper flights than the Grand Junction airport, and is only a 1.5 hour drive away. You would need to pick up a rental car, then drive to Grand Junction.&nbsp; 3. Fly into Denver International Airport (DIA). From Denver, you may rent a car, take the Amtrak, or take Bustang (regional bus) to Grand Junction. Denver is about a 4-hour drive from Grand Junction on a good day :)&nbsp; 4. Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). SLC is also ~4 hours away from Grand Junction. You would have to rent a car from the airport and drive to Grand Junction.&nbsp;

Is there a hotel block?

Yes! We have reserved rooms at 4 hotels in downtown Grand Junction (all within 1-2 min walk of each other). How do I travel around Grand Junction?

We recommend that you get a rental car for your time in Grand Junction - there are very few options for public transportation, and ubers are limited. However, we will provide round-trip transportation from the hotel block in downtown GJ to the venue! See the Q&amp;A tab for detailed shuttle information.

Travel & Lodging

There are so many great areas to hike around Grand Junction. Below are a list of our favorite hikes: 1. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/ar/trail/us/colorado/liberty-cap-short-hike" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Liberty Cap </a>- where we got engaged! This is a moderate to difficult hike, with ~1,200 ft of elevation gained over 1.5 miles (3 miles roundtrip). Provides a nice overlook of the Grand Valley at the top.2. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/ar/trail/us/colorado/mount-garfield" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Mount Garfield</a> - a Grand Junction classic. Very challenging hike with 2,000 feet of elevation gained over 2 miles (4 miles roundtrip). You might also run into some wild horses!3. <a href="https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7006459/the-cabin-loop" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cabin Loop</a> - a moderately challenging 6-mile loop that leads to a historic cabin.4. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/monument-canyon-loop-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Monument Canyon Loop</a> - moderate loop through the red rock of the CO National Monument. Great hike if you're looking to spot wild rams.5. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/skinner-cabin-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Skinner Cabin Trail</a> - an easy, 2 mile (mostly flat) hike on a well maintained path.6. <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/ar/trail/us/colorado/mesa-lakes-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Mesa Lakes Trail</a> - this trail is great if you want to get up into the mountains! About an hour drive from Grand Junction.7. <a href="https://www.visitgrandjunction.com/blog/post/grand-junctions-riverfront-trail/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">River Front Trail</a> - paved, mostly flat trail that follows the river. Hiking

Mountain biking is one of our favorite activities to do in Grand Junction! There are multiple bike rental places around the Valley - we particularly recommend <a href="https://backcountrybiker.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">CBB</a> in Fruita.
