The night of Tuesday, May 10, 2022 changed our lives forever. We left work and planned to meet at the Patsy's at Tyson's Corner. When we finally met it was instant fireworks! What was supposed to be a couple of drinks and an hour tops turned into three hours of talking and laughing. We left that night completely smitten with one another. There was talking and texting around the clock until we saw each other again that Saturday. It was just supposed to be a few hours of axe throwing together, but again, we couldn't help ourselves. We spent all day together talking about our lives, our dreams, and what was most important to us. From that day on we were inseparable.

It took three weeks to fall in love, and on June 4th we couldn't hold the words in any longer - we practically yelled them to each other out of excitement. In August, Brendan asked, "is it too soon to move in together?" The next day we started looking for apartments and moved in together at the beginning of October. We grew closer and fell more in love every single day. We've spent countless evenings sitting on our balcony watching the sunset and talking about what a beautiful life we will have together and how excited we were for our future. We spent holidays and vacations together. We celebrated Brendan's 30th birthday in Florida by going diving with sharks, then it was time to celebrate my birthday.

On June 5, 2023 we decided to go on the National Harbor Ferris Wheel and out to a nice dinner on the water. Even with Brendan acting like a weirdo leading up to it, I had no idea what was coming that day. As we neared the top of the ferris wheel, he had me read his card. When I looked up at him at the end of the card, Brendan was on one knee with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. Then he said, "will you marry me?" It was the easiest "yes" of my life!

We waited our whole lives to find each other, and now the wait is finally over! We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter in our lives with all of you!
