On the first day of Ellie's internship, she met a cute boy on the third base line that made her jitters go away. He introduced himself as Nate and shook her hand, not knowing what he had started.

At the Fall World Series Payoff Dinner, Nate found the courage to ask Ellie (aka Camera Girl) for her snapchat after she took this video of him. They remained just friends for a few months, though.

For Ellie's 21st birthday, all of their friends went to the lake house! At this point, they're two peas in a pod... Well, three if you count Mitchell!

Feeling Super!!! Auburn hosted and won their Regional and headed to Oregon for supers.

OMAHA BOUND!!! (Ellie had to work these games from the comfort of her own couch, so there's no picture of the two of them to document this)

Ellie and her mom drove up to Omaha to meet up with Nate's fam to watch the CWS!! On the 26th, the very day they got back to Auburn, Nate FINALLY asked Ellie to be his girlfriend (really a formality at this point).

Ellie made her first hometown visit!! She brought a +1, of course.

Ellie got Nate the BEST birthday present ever!! Welcome to the fam, Rue girl <3

What people don't know is Ellie watched Rue for a week by herself because Nate was at the ranch. It was love at first sight, though. Off to the beach for Nate's 21st birthday!

On New Year's Day, Nate and Ellie drove out to his cousin's ranch and spent the week there! Nate realized he wants to be a rancher when he grows up.

One of Ellie's favorite memories of senior year: Nate had a game the night of her formal, but Sam Honeycutt drove him to the venue so that he could still be with her for some of it!

Ellie graduates!! Spring semester really did fly by, but Ellie and Nate soaked it up as much as they could.

Ellie and her parents pull off the surprise of the CENTURY with this one! Nate had a game in Mahoning Valley, Ohio and knew his mom would be in town, but had no idea what he was in for!

Nate's a Toronto Blue Jay! This just felt necessary to include in the timeline :) Ellie and Nate really only saw each other twice between July and September because of his schedule.

Nate proposes and Ellie says yes!!! Nate (kind of) surprised Ellie by driving up from Tampa for the weekend and popped the question at the lake, her favorite place! The weekend was full of family and friends and could not have been any more perfect.
