What is the dress code?
Garden party cocktail, color encouraged. Ladies, have fun with florals, colors and patterns. Any sort of maxi, midi or elevated sundress is perfect. When choosing shoes, keep in mind that you will be walking in the grass. Feel free to bring a change of shoes for dancing! Gentlemen, we ask that you wear a suit or a sports coat, but tie is optional!

Can I bring a guest?
Due to the size of our wedding, we ask that only those listed on the invitation attend the wedding. If we have noted that you may bring plus one, please feel free! However, we ask to not bring anyone that is not listed on your invite (including children).
What time should I get there?
Our ceremony will promptly start at 5 PM CT. With that being said, we ask that all guests are seated by 4:45. Since the venue is right on the water, there is a little bit of a walk between the parking lot and the venue. We will have two golf carts helping guests get to the chapel, but please plan extra time and arrive early!
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue that will be open and free for guests.
Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be outside. The ceremony is covered, though, and we have a rain plan in place for the reception if needed! We wouldn't have you travel to the lake just to stay inside!
Is it a cash bar?
No! We will have a full, open bar during the reception.
Can I take pictures and videos with my phone during the ceremony?
Feel free to take pictures before the ceremony and at the reception! We ask that you please keep your phone off during the ceremony, though, as we are having an "unplugged ceremony." Don't worry, we have a wonderful photographer and videographer that won't miss a beat!
Are children allowed at the wedding?
We would love to have your little ones at the ceremony! To give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears, though, we politely request no children at the cocktail hour and reception. Please let Ellie know if you need any assistance in finding sitters!
What about after the reception?
Although the reception ends at 9:30 pm, the party doesn't need to stop there! Nate and Ellie, along with the bridal party, plan on continuing the night out in Auburn and want all of their friends there if they are able! However, please plan your accommodations accordingly because we need everyone to be getting home safely. See the travel tab for ideas on where to stay.
Do you have a registry?
Yes! We have a registry tab on this website. Please note that our wedding china is at the very bottom of the page because the Noritake registry is not "partnered" with The Knot. Thank you!
