It all started in a little town called Galway. Both of us had started college in NUIG in 2010, however our paths did not cross until one day in our second year at the infamous College Bar.... A friend of Seán's was due to meet up with some lab partners of his for a few drinks. More than a few drinks later we were soon well acquainted and so the journey began.

After college and for the following 5 years we became the King and Queen of long distance relationships, Seán moved to Belfast and then Middlesborough, Emer moved to Southampton, then Seán finally moved back home to Galway during COVID, leaving Emer in England (still a bit of a sore point there). We were finally reunited in late 2020 and have been inseparable ever since. Finally Seán bent the knee after 10 years in the stunning city of Lisbon and we are excited to have all our close family and friends in Kildare to celebrate us finally tying the knot.
