If you choose a hotel outside of what has been recommended, please know that Paris is an old city and not every hotel or airbnb will have air conditioning. We recommend that you toggle your search to include this luxury!
Abram and I will be staying at the Hotel De L’empereur during our stay in France (3rd selection below) and at the Shangri-La Paris on the wedding day.

Helpful Details Upon Arrival
Transportation
1. Metro System: The city of Paris has a very robust metro system. If you plan to take the metro system we recommend that before you fly out that you pre-map your destination to the closest metro station near your hotel.
2. Uber or Taxi: For a quicker mode of transportation to your hotel. There will be many taxi drivers & Uber drivers on stand by. But be mindful that they may have a slight upcharge.
Internet Connection
Please be mindful that when you initially land & when you are away from your hotel, you will not have internet connection.
We recommend that you call your provider and advise them that you will be traveling oversees to avoid any uncertainty. In addition, to save on money we recommend that only one person in your party have international connection.
Currency
1. Debit & Credit Cards
All major debit & credit cards work in every establishment in France. Please be sure to log into to you bank account and set your travel dates to ensure that your financial institution is aware and does not assume fraud and block your cards.
2. Cash Exchange
You WILL NOT need to exchange cash and we do not recommend that you do. Cash exchange services have a very high fee rate and do not benefit you in the end.
3. Pickpockets
With every major city, there are pickpockets. Please make sure that you stay vigilant with your personal possession (jewelry, passport, credit cards etc.) and keep them in hidden zippers that cannot be easily accessed.
